Enjo Nature Farm

Peaceful two-night getaway in a cabin for two. Very clean, simple and rustic, but clearly well maintained.

The setting is the highlight — completely remote in the Biedouw Valley, surrounded by mountains, succulents and open skies. No reception, which adds to the switch-off. Nights are incredible with clear views of the Milky Way.

Facilities are well thought through: clean, well-stocked kitchen and bathroom, plus great outdoor options including a natural spring reservoir and a filtered saltwater pool. The manor house has a small shop and internet if needed.

Communication was easy and relaxed. The team shared clear directions and even checked in once we lost signal on the dirt road.

We spent most of the time hiking, swimming and stargazing — exactly what you come here for. Also very good value for money.

Only thing to note: it’s about 25km of dirt road to get there, so plan accordingly.

The cabins are basic with all you’d need in the setup. The service is great. And the location is when you want quiet, undisturbed and off the grid time. Great base to hike, rock climb around the area. The farm is safe with its own well marked trail. Last place to get food stuff is Clanwilliam (70km) and if you forget something small, maybe the Travellers Rest a few kms before you turn into the gravel (+-30km).

We had such an incredible stay at Enjo Nature Farm! It was incredibly peaceful, calm, and relaxing. we miss it already. A huge shoutout to Daisy, who truly stole our hearts. She joined us for everything, from swimming and stargazing to hanging out at the lobby. She even jumped in our car right before we left yesterday, ready to head home with us! 😂 Thanks for everything, hope to see you guys again soon

Enjo is our go-to in the Biedouw Valley for peace, tranquility and incredible beauty. The owners are always friendly, the cottages simple but with everything you need, and it still works with an honesty bar. It really never tires.

The perfect getaway to escape the city. My husband and I just had the best weekend at Enjo Nature Farm. It's quiet, remote and guaranteed to leave you revitalised. We stayed at Oak Cottage which is perfectly situated with private views of the Biedouw Valley. The outdoor bath was so much fun. We had visits from horses and a flock of sheep with their lambs, so adorable. There's a lovely hike to do, and a swimming pool and plaasdam to enjoy. The stars at night are incredible too! Thank you to the Enjo Nature Farm family for so warmly welcoming us and for the restful break that we needed.
