Absolutely lovely farm in a valley near Clanwilliam.
Views are amazing!
Camping sites have top standard ablution facilities, which are kept clean and neat.
Floaties are a must have for the river pools!
Can't wait to go back again❤️

Beautifully situated we camped along the river, the river has pools which are swimable, just a pity about the water pressure in the bathroom, it was almost non existent and almost no hot water.
The Cafe was lovely.
Just don't go at the end of matric-student festivities carry on and on very loud and drunk.
Be aware you have a 20km dirt road pass to go over to get there!
Otherwise a lovely campsite...

I just love the Farm with its Mango trees, Orange, Lemon and Naartjie trees and now Asparagus too! The surrounding mountains are amazing and there are fab hiking trails and swimming pools in the river. Excellent camping facilities and chalets to choose from. Jannie and Katrien are such wonderful hosts..with their 3 sons.

What a heartwarming experience we had at Jamaka farm.

Initial plan was just for one night but we kept extending every day to stay more and more.

Katrin was so kind and explained to us what life is in this magical valley. We got invited to play tennis with the sons and their friends. Got to experience great trail running around the farm.

Every day we bought organic produce from the farm shop. We slowed down our pace and it felt great.

It was one of the highlight of our South African roadtrip.

We'll be back for sure ❤️

I have camped here numerous times with family groups over the last ten years and it was always a pleasurable experience. Mainly in the original straight. The service is 5star with someone answering your call at any hour of the day. But i am discouraged from returning after my last visit.
The road is exceptionally bad.
There is just to many people for the facilities.
People resorting to setting up umbrellas and towels early morning to have any spot on the lawn that ends up looking like a clifton beach 2.0
Kids are running the shop and bar with no real authority person to manage the party crowd drinking on the lawn at 10:00 in the morning. Swearing breaking glass and playing load music through portable speakers. The general toilet/shower unisex setup is not family friendly and only cleaned in the morning.
The “happy hour” at the bar is loud.
