Description

Citrus Creek Campsite offers a wonderfully relaxed and scenic camping experience, conveniently located on the edge of the charming town of Citrusdal. The campsite boasts a beautiful, park-like setting with sprawling green lawns and a canopy of mature shade trees, creating a peaceful country atmosphere. It’s a place where you can enjoy a sense of being in nature while still being just a short, pleasant walk from the town's shops and restaurants for any essentials you might need.

The intimate campsite provides a selection of spacious, grassed stands, many enjoying fantastic views of the surrounding Cederberg mountains. These sites are equipped with electrical points and are serviced by clean ablution blocks, ensuring a comfortable stay. The heart of the resort is the Olifants River, which flows right alongside the property. This beautiful river is a natural playground, offering a perfect spot to cool off with a swim, launch a canoe, or simply relax on the banks and enjoy the tranquil sounds of the flowing water.

Beyond the campsite, you are at the gateway to the magnificent Cederberg Wilderness Area. Citrusdal is the ideal base from which to launch excursions for incredible hiking, exploring ancient rock art, or tackling rugged 4x4 trails, making it a haven for outdoor adventurers.
