I loved my stay here the cottage was very cozy and the electric blankets were a nice touch. The view was beautiful. The only complaint I have is that the light bulbs in the cottage were too bright and did not suit the atmosphere of the cottage, I would suggest replacing them with warming lighting. Overall very pleasant experience!

The small plummy cherries with the big pips are the tastiest! I would love to know the name of the tree. The hand-out detailing varieties that they give with the ticket is useful. Bring tap water to wash cherries. I am sure they use pesticides and we don't want that in our kids do we? A little beach bucket for dipping the cherries in water and another for picking would be perfect. Enjoy and bless the little ones. They will love it♥️

We spent the better part of 2 hours wondering through the beautiful cherry trees as well as some appel and pear trees. Our whole experience was amazing and it all started and ended with the young woman that greeted us at the gate and explained all the rules. She truly is a gem and treated us with so much kindness and professionalism it was one of our favorite visits of our whole vacation.

Friendly staff and decent prices. Pizza, coffee, and icecream was available from food trucks when we were there. Many varieties of cherries available, but make sure to ask staff which colours (marked on the trees, and named on brochure) are best for preferences - sweetest / best for baking etc. Very pleasant experience. I highly suggest using one of the optional ladders, as well as getting there early and parking next to one of the picnic tables in the shade. The views are pleasant and peaceful, but be aware there is some walking up minor elevation involved.

Great outdoor venue for picnic and braai under hordes of shady trees. Fantastic clean ablution blocks. Timber benches and water and power points at all venues.
Cost to enter is reasonable at R40pp.
The real plus and drawcard is cherry picking in the orchards in season time. Sweet ripe plumb cherries to adore. This is such a great activity in season. It is at least two and a half hours drive from Cape Town so plan your time well.
