Description

Fraaigelegen Farm offers an exclusive and intimate camping experience for those who appreciate peace, privacy, and the authentic charm of a working wine and olive farm. Tucked away in the beautiful Tulbagh valley, this is not a public resort, but a private sanctuary where you are surrounded by stunning mountain ranges and endless views over vineyards and olive groves.

The farm is intentionally designed for a quiet, uncrowded experience, with just three secure and well-appointed campsites. This ensures that every guest has a sense of personal space and tranquility. The sites are perfectly suited for caravans, motorhomes, and off-road trailers, each providing a comfortable and scenic base for your stay. Every site is equipped with an electricity point, and as the owners proudly note, guests consistently rave about the spotlessly clean and well-maintained ablution facilities.

The experience at Fraaigelegen is about embracing the serene farm atmosphere. For that classic South African social experience, the farm features two large, communal boma areas, perfect for a sheltered and atmospheric braai under the stars. The farm's location makes it an ideal base for exploring the historic town of Tulbagh and its renowned wine route, allowing you to return to a place of profound peace at the end of the day.
