We went to Maroela Oase for some quiet time. We had one day of peace sitting in the hot water pool. Then there arrived groups of children. Our peace flew out the window. No rules applied to them. I enjoy kids having fun providing they abide by the rules. I complained, and was promised that they will make sure that the rules are not broken. For the rest of our stay we were not able to get near the hot water pool, there was no adult supervision. The noise was unbearable until after 22h00 so much that we couldn't sleep. I sent management an email but they did not even bother to acknowledge my mail. I will not advise any of my friends or family to visit at Maroela Oase. Bad experience.

Our experience at this resort was very disappointing. The room was dusty upon arrival and in clear need of general maintenance. We also had issues with the appliances; the fridge was leaking, and the stove was faulty.

To make matters worse, we have not received our deposit back, even though it has been more than the five days stated in our agreement. They have been rude when we followed up. We will not be returning and cannot recommend it to others.

We had a horrible experience here, we spend the night of the 9th December 2025 and there were bed bugs my 3 year old son woke up with bite marks and red spots all over his body and he was itching. I took pictures and showed them and all I got was “ I will let management know” no apology nothing. Then I never heard from them, they didn't bother to check on my son nothing! And the cherry on top was the bed we slept on was making noise the whole night every time you turn. I made them aware of this as well. I am never going back there and I strongly discourage anyone from going there.

This place was amazing. We went for Easter weekend, and going again for my son's birthday in August. The cleanest ablutions ever, and the grounds are kept clean. The staff are friendly and super helpful, and they went the extra mile when we needed assistance while camping. A definite recommend!
