The entire property is fully fenced, providing a safe environment where you can relax and enjoy the abundant birdlife that the bushveld is famous for.

The park maintains an intimate atmosphere. The majority of sites are thoughtfully designed with a combination of grass and a solid brick slab, providing a clean, level surface for your caravan or tent setup, which is especially welcome during wet weather. Three of these are specifically suited to tents or trailer tents.

For those seeking a touch of extra comfort and privacy, two exclusive sites are available, each boasting its own private ablution facility and scullery. This allows for a completely self-contained and convenient camping experience. For the remaining, the shared ablution facilities are kept to a high standard of cleanliness, ensuring a comfortable stay for all guests. Lovely, peaceful escape into the bush yet close enought to town. Made good use of the warmbath pool in the evenings...before bed..even though it is winter. Came across wildebees, impala, nyala, duiker, warthog, woodpecker & several other bird species, squirrels & bush babies visiting out of the trees at night. Good for bush walki g/hiking. Accomodation has all the necessities for adequate self catering, although an extra bit of hanging space would help a bit, like a few more hooks for gowns etc

A real bushveld feeling. Very near to town. Convenient nearby the N1 high way. Warm pool and a lot off extras to do. Bathrooms are kept clean. A nice relaxing atmosphere. Nothing luxurious. Chalets and camping area. Affordable.

If Shangri-la was a real place, this would be it. Camping here was so peaceful, and it was such a pleasure to be able to sit back, relax, and see wildlife walking around you.

We were stationed at the caravan site with its own bathroom, which was kept neat and clean throughout our stay. There are boma's for you to utilise and have a fire going long into the night.

Will come back again and recommend it to anyone. Really a 10/10 experience.

We really enjoy going to San Cha Len and have been visiting for years. It’s affordable, peaceful, and perfect for some family time. Some stands even have their own boma area, which is a big plus! 🔥

The warm water pool is always a hit, and it’s lovely to go for a quiet walk through the area. It’s our go-to spot when we just want to relax and reconnect as a family. 🌿🏕️
