Description

Set within the classic Waterberg bushveld, this resort offers campers a distinct choice in how they want to experience their getaway. Surrounded by natural trees and vegetation, it provides a peaceful environment where you can tailor your stay to your preferred level of comfort, from traditional camping to something a little more convenient.

For campers who value extra privacy and convenience, the resort’s 16 private stands are an excellent choice. Each of these premium sites functions like your own personal basecamp, featuring a private bathroom with a shower, toilet, and basin. You also get a basic kitchenette for convenient food preparation and storage (just remember to bring your own crockery and utensils). Naturally, a power point, fresh water tap, and private braai complete the setup on each stand.

For a more traditional camping experience, the resort offers 18 classic bushveld stands. These sites are generously shaded by the natural vegetation, creating a lovely, authentic atmosphere. Each stand is well-equipped with its own water tap, electrical point, and braai area. These sites are serviced by a conveniently located main ablution block, which is kept clean and also houses a scullery and laundry. For families with small children, two separate family bathrooms containing baths are also available for shared use.

We visited Corrie & Brian and it was one of the best places to stay so much so that we even extended our stay.If you're looking for the bush this is the place...the public ablutions are stunning.If you prefer a private bathroom / kitchen there are some stands that have them.
Corrie and Brian are the most amazing,friendly people and they made us feel so comfortable.They really go out of their way to accommodate you.If there's a problem they very quick to sort it out.

Nice layout, unfortunately no grass except for around the pool. Private ablutions not in good condition and not well serviced (remember to BRING YOUR OWN TOILET PAPER). Management attitude leaves a lot to be desired. I will not go back if understanding current ownership/management.

Cozy and comfortable. Beautiful ablutions that are well kept and maintained. Large swimming pool, hiking, mountain biking, the basics. Owners are very hands-on and involved which makes you feel welcome. Stands are well shaded and you can really experience the bushveld. Loved our stay over the Easter weekend.

No no no! False advertising and misleading! I usally NEVER comment anything bad but feel rippes off! The stars given is only to post my review!!! @ R650 per night for 3 adults and a 3 year old, I have to speak my mind! Nothing but ice and firewood in the shop,not a single ice-cream not even a 2l cooldrink! Come on people!!! It is a long weekend, we were told the resort is fully booked...a maximum of 5 caravans in total. I specifically asked if the pool was heated before making the booking on email because I have a 3 year old, to this I was told YES!! Pool is freezing, water is ice bloody cold. We had to spend an additional R1500 at warmbaths for entertainment and food for the day for the young one. Not a green patch of grass anywhere. Not even around the pool. The road and railway is very noisy. Owners are very in-your-face and quick to lecture you on everything and I mean everything, language used is vulgar ANY PUSH BACK and they became RUDE!! No network coverage! A definite NO!!

We had a great time staying here over the long weekend. The owners are so attentive and friendly. You can really see they work hard to keep everything spick and span. On the first night they even came around to check that everyone had settled in. Ps, I think the bush camp stands are amazing, they are a little bit more private and some have great views out to the neighboring game farm. The stands are somewhat "sandy" but it's almost like fine beach sand so not really dusty. I must also mention that the braai stands for each camp site are the best I've ever seen.
