We had a nice stay at doringlaagte, I was excited when I saw online that they had a warm swimming pool, but when we arrived it wasn't hot.
But we did have a hot tub at our house and we really enjoyed it.
They also provided allot of wood.

The alarm of our house just went of at random times while we were sleeping or later the afternoon that wasn't so nice..

But the bathrooms, house was clean and nice equipped. We enjoyed walking and riding our bicycles on their routes given.. Nice view of the mountains and dam. My children also enjoyed playing at the playground.

Would like to come in the summer to experience everything they have to offer.

A lovely pet friendly camping venue. I particularly liked that the pet friendly sites are fenced off to keep one's fury companions from roaming.
There's plenty to do too. The playground with tramp is great for the kids. There's a pub a little away for the less young, and there's kayaks, fishing and even a small golf course.
Then there's the 4x4 track & farm road trails. We loved hiking the farm roads up, around the hills. Others cycled and a few even ran past us.
There literally is something for everyone.
The ablutions were always spotlessly clean with plenty hot water.
The main camping sites are wonderfully shaded, with full grass.
Some of the pet friendly sites, not as well shaded, but the trees are there and growing.
We'll definitely visit again, and very likely, again and again.
Hats off to the team that maintain the venue.

Great camping spot with kids & dogs.
E plots are fenced and allows pets.
Lots to do for kids.
Neat ablutions and wash up area.
No music policy makes the evenings peaceful.
Be sure to bring cash as they don’t accept card payments.

Fantastic Stay at Doringlaagte Camping & Chalets

We spent the weekend camping at Doringlaagte Camping & Chalets, and it was an amazing experience! The campsite is beautiful and very well-maintained. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the showers and toilets were clean. Everything you could need was provided.

It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great camping experience!
