I have so many memories of when my kids were little and we would hitch our caravan onto our car and tackle the beautiful scenic drive to Die Dam.

My mom and two sisters would always accompany my husband, two daughters and myself on our camping trips. And did we have fun!

We made sure not to park too far from the toilets and bathrooms, as it could be a problem in the middle of the night when the little ones needed to use the toilets.

The camp is always clean and the fact that there are taps nearby is a blessing. We would take the kids bicycles with and that sorted them out as far as playing was concerned. Which meant lots of more time for the adults to relax and enjoy ourselves.

The very first time we went to Die Dam we went with only a tent and when we discovered our lovely it was we returned with our caravan and tent!

The ocean is literally on your doorstep and although we not really fishing people , we do enjoy the beach. Lovely memories all around👌⭐️

Always wanted to go coz I heard so much about Die Dam. What an experience!! Took me back to my childhood days of camping right on the beach.

The scenic drive, amazing campsite, and beautifully clean ablution facilities, with hot water showers.

The staff is super friendly. Every morning they empty your bins and assist with any queries, offering good advice about things to do locally.

An absolute gem of a place. Campsites have electricity and taps are a few steps away from each campsite.

Some locals are blessed to be living there, as the views are amazing (I'd go back just for the sunsets).

And if you have kids, there's over enough for them to do in a super safe environment. (First thing I was told is your kid is my kid, and it's true!)

On-site is a little shop to get all your necessities. The management is easily approachable and oh so friendly! Great insight on what to do and where to go if you choose to do that.

Definitely, a place I'd go back to. Rustic, clean, safe, and on the beach... What more could you ask for?
