The most remarkable feature is the clever use of wooden fences, strategically placed to separate many of the sites. We camped at Strandskloofpark in April / May 2026 in the midst of the storms. It was our first time here and we thoroughly enjoyed it, we even extended our stay.
The stands are large, green lawns and the whole campsite is very well maintained at all times. The ablution is kept clean throughout the day and the scullery and laundry area is spotless. There is a play area for the kids and the small shop for necessities is run by a very friendly lady. In fact, all staff are very friendly and helpfull. The indoor heated pool is another highlight.
Strandkloofpark is definitely one of the best campsites we have ever been to. We will definitely be going back.

Just had a super lovely 3 night stay at Strandskloof Caravan Park. As you enter the premises you will be taken in by how very immaculate, clean and super well maintained it is. Spotless ablution facilities and clean scullery and laundry. Large grassy stands with increadible views of the mountains. The highlight is the heated indoor swimming pool. Probably id go as far as to say one of the Top caravan parks in this country.

This park was great for our family. There’s a great playground, trampoline, putt putt, and an outdoor cool and indoor heated pool. The sites and ablutions were spotless, there’s a view in the distance of the ocean and dunes, there are trees for some shade… my kids had a lot of fun.

What a gem of a resort! Ablutions are clean and tidy at any time of the day, I have never been to a resort where there was always toilet paper in the cubicles, they supply handwash and airfresher as well and either a hand towel or drier.
The staff are friendly and welcoming. We camped when the fires where going, we received personal updates at our site about the proximity, wind direction and any questions were confidently answered on the spot. Thank you for peace of mind.
So much for the kids to do. Pools were sparkling clean, jumping castles, a well thought out kids play area (along with the biggest see-saw I have ever seen), train rides were big hit, putt putt a great addition. The shop is such a convenience to have on site. The grass sites are spacious with water and electricity connections near by. Braais and dirt bins cleaned regularly.
Nothing negative to say, keep up the great work at this wonderful resort. We will definitely be back soon!!! xxx

We were camping in pristine conditions. The campsites are grassed areas and very large. The whole resort was kept clean daily. The ablutions were also very clean and everything was working. Something which I liked was the indoor hot water pool. It has a cold water pool too and a putt-putt course. This place comes highly recommended.
