The lodge offers both camping and chalet accommodation, catering to different preferences. The intimate caravan park features a selection of spacious campsites set within the beautiful, park-like grounds. These sites provide a comfortable and scenic spot to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. For those who prefer a solid roof, a number of well-equipped, self-catering chalets are also available, making it a great option for mixed family groups.

Beyond being a great basecamp, the lodge itself is a relaxing destination. The swimming pool area, complete with two trampolines, is a guaranteed hit with children, providing hours of family fun. For a quieter moment, you can try your hand at fishing in the on-site dam. We were informed prior to booking that the property was undergoing renovations. The accommodation itself is quite old, with dated furniture, giving it an “Ouma se Huis” feel, which we were prepared for given the highly affordable price.

The pool area is very well maintained and impressive, with trampolines available. The yard is beautiful, filled with trees and mangoes that guests are able to pick themselves. As expected in such a natural setting, there are insects and frogs, which is manageable.

There is a wonderful hiking trail leading to an impressive waterfall with beautiful views. While there is still considerable work to be done, once renovations are complete this has the potential to be a very attractive destination.

The property is conveniently located less than 5 km from local malls and other activities, including the Phabeni Gate to the Kruger National Park. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

The hospitality was amazing. If you’re looking for a quiet place surrounded by nature and mango tress, this is the place. Our camping experience was amazing, we enjoyed the beautiful views and the tranquil atmosphere of country living as we went on a hike. The outside bathroom was clean with nice warm running water 24/7.
Just a little warning, if you’re like me and bugs like leaving a mark on your skin, ensure you covered or have an insect repellent spray nearby. They have a swimming pool which I didn’t get the time to enjoy but I’ll be definitely going back. Hopefully we get to see new renovation here and there as campers☺️

The place is good for when looking a peace and quiet place. We stayed in a family unit and was spacious however this old house is dilapidated, unkept in as far as maintenance is concerned. The water is brown and the drainage was not fully functional as one had to wait for 15 minutes for the water to drain. The house was smelly and we had to buy odour control spray to stabilize the odour and blankets they gave us were snelly as well. The place needs renovations

Both the owners and staff are very friendly. Although this is a new venture for them and the rooms are still being upgraded, I give them 5 🌟 for the hard work they are putting for the guests to enjoy their stay. The prices are very very reasonable and the security is top class. No mosquitoes and free WiFi.
