Tucked away in the Waterberg bushveld just 14 km from Modimolle, Sebenza Creek Bush Camp offers a genuine escape for those who want to disconnect and immerse themselves in nature. This is not a large, bustling resort; it’s an intimate camp designed for visitors who appreciate the quiet sounds of the bush and the simple pleasure of watching wildlife from their campsite.

The camp is intentionally small, featuring just four exclusive campsites. This ensures a peaceful atmosphere and a sense of privacy that is hard to find elsewhere. Each of the four sites is well-spaced, set under shady trees, and can accommodate up to six guests. They are practically equipped with a standard electrical point, a water tap, and a private, free-standing braai for those essential bushveld evenings. The shared ablution facilities are clean, well-maintained, and conveniently located for all campers.

Days at Sebenza are about enjoying the surroundings at your own pace. You can explore the property on foot with a bush walk or bring your mountain bike to tackle the trails. The highlight for many is the communal swimming pool, which has a unique, rustic touch—it can be heated with a firewood heater, making it a wonderful place to relax, even on cooler evenings. While the camp feels remote and wild, a Wi-Fi connection is available, allowing you to share a photo or two of your peaceful getaway.

If you are looking for peace and tranquility, then Sebenza Creek is for you. You are free to camp wherever you feel happiest. It is a bush camp, so the place has a rustic feel to it. I loved that there were no pesky baboons or monkeys, just a nice variety of birds. The owners go out of their way to make you comfortable and to create a 'family' feel with breakfast get-togethers. The 5km gravel road to get there is partially maintained be the local property owners in the area. Did I mention that you have free WiFi and free use of a washing machine! What a spoil! PS...the water tastes nice.

Hermi and Hendrik have one of the most relaxing camping destinations in Limpopo. Catering to our every need we felt without doubt that we were part of family. The bush on our doorstep, just an hour and a half drive north of Pretoria. We visited with our kids 9 and 4 who had a fantastic time especially in the fantastic swimming facility on site to cool down in. Ablutions we’re spotless, with hot water on demand. Sebenza Creek is definitely a campers dream. Thank you Hermi and Hendrik for your hospitality, the bush walk and we do look forward to coming back soon.

The most wonderful camping experience that you will ever find. The toilets are clean, there is more than enough space for everyone to wash dishes. The water pressure is excellent and the water temperature is really warm. The pool facilities are amazing with the pool being clean and really nice with the warm weather.

Sebenza Creek Bush Camp offered an exceptional camping experience, blending modern comforts with the beauty of the wilderness. Hermi (the host) was very warm and accommodating. They clean the common areas and braai stands everyday. We enjoyed the presence of impalas, a swimming pool, snooker, and Wi-Fi. The camp provided a perfect balance of relaxation and adventure, making it an ideal destination for all nature lovers. I was worried about the small car on the gravel road but didn't get stuck.
