I stayed in the chalet. There is self catering facilities. The linen is brown, and one would prefer white. Towels were changed daily, however the bed linen was not changed for the four nights I slept there. You use your own phone to call for help since there is no phone in the chalet. Situated in the CBD, however when you are inside you forget about that since it is beautiful. Natural vegetation is preserved. There are several swimming pools and a water park is also available. The place is family friendly

We had a wonderful stay at Warmbaths, Bela-Bela Forever Resort. The resort is beautifully maintained, with a relaxing and family-friendly atmosphere. The warm pools were the highlight — clean, soothing, and perfect for unwinding.

There’s so much to do for both kids and adults, from water activities to lovely outdoor spaces. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was well organised. It’s the perfect getaway for rest, fun, and quality family time.

Highly recommended — we can’t wait to visit again!

The pool areas could use a pressure washer.
The chalets are always the best. Listening to birds in the morning is peaceful while the squirrels roam around. In the evening, you'll see rabbits.

Staff are very welcoming and accommodating. Friendly service. Pools are awesome. Plenty shaded areas. Great place for family fun or for a chilled weekend with friends.

For such an expensive resort, we were really disappointed with the poorly serviced amenities. The chalets are old fashioned and could do with basic upgrades. Some staff are so kind and friendly but others have been so inhospitable and act like they’re doing us a favor by doing their job. The lady cleaning the bathrooms pushed us and refused to allow our minor children to use the ladies bathroom under our supervision, forcing them to go to the bathroom alone. She even suggested asking another adult stranger (male) to watch our child in the bathroom. Given the high rape, sexual assault, murder and crime rate in South Africa, I’m shocked. Do better.

Furthermore, the staff in the donut huts have broken fans and are sitting in 40+ degree conditions. Inhumane conditions for staff. For a resort charging such exorbitant prices, I do think it’s in the budget to do basic upgrades and teach staff how to act professionally. Maybe also consider adding family bathrooms to public spaces.

Other than that, the chalets have a good layout and lots of privacy between neighbouring chalets. The pools were quite clean and pools were really warm, hot even. Warmbaths has always been a great family holiday spot, but the staff we encountered really ruined the experience.
