Riverbend Chalets & Campsite

Really great campsite, we were traveling through en route from Durban to Lesotho and stayed over, would have liked to have stayed longer! Very quiet and tucked away, but close to attractions like beaches and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Camped over with a friend and our kids. Quite(not that kids are),tranquil... Horses come down to river for a drink. Play ground. Clean. Hot water.

1st, thank you, owners, for taking our caravan down and up the steep hill to allow us to camp. We would have never been able to visit using our car. You made it all possible.

Crazy long weekend starting with floods, snow, people sleeping on the N3, flu season, you name it, lucky for us, we were the only campers on the camp site for such a bad storm weekend across the country. Never the less, we had the best time, a mix of cold, sun, rain, wind, and absolute tanquility. This spot is a little hidden gem with just that healing energy one needs to break away from life to find some quiet time.

I'm still in terrible nostalgia being back at work and day dreaming to be back in that spot, wishing I can sprawl out with donkey and the horses on the grass, just soaking in the bird chirps, sun and the beautiful walks.

Will absolutely visit again when possible. Thank you for this wonderful getaway spot.

Awesome camping experience. We were allowed to bring our medium sized dog with us. Braai's were cleaned everyday and ablutions were spotless.

Campsite is right on the beach, with lovely walks as well as a dam close by.

When the weather was good, we took the canoe out onto the river.

Would definitely return.

Lots of beautiful nature in a quiet and secure environment. Lovely hiking trails. Very dog friendly. We keep coming back.
