Fountains Valley Resort

Fountains Valley Resort offers a unique and historic camping experience, providing a green oasis right in the heart of Pretoria. As part of the Groenkloof Nature Reserve, one of the oldest in the country, this is more than just a park; it's a piece of the city's living history. The resort is famously fed by two natural springs, which still provide a portion of Pretoria's water supply, adding to its special character.

The caravan park provides a convenient and leafy escape for both locals and travellers. A generous number of campsites are set within the well-maintained gardens, offering a tranquil environment with the convenience of city access. These sites are supported by braai facilities and ablution blocks, providing the essential comforts for an urban camping getaway. The resort is a popular spot for day visitors and picnics, creating a vibrant and lively atmosphere, especially over weekends.

What makes a stay here so special is the feeling of being in nature while surrounded by the city. You can spend the day relaxing by the large swimming pool, enjoying a braai with family, or exploring the greater nature reserve. The resort is also a popular venue for festivals and events, meaning visitors can sometimes enjoy live music and a festive atmosphere. It’s a perfect and affordable base for exploring the capital city.
