Description

Woodbourne Resort boasts one of the most sought-after locations in Knysna, situated right at The Heads. While just a five-kilometre drive from the bustling town centre, the resort feels like a world away, offering a serene, park-like sanctuary for your Garden Route holiday. The atmosphere is defined by its canopy of mature trees, which not only provides welcome shade but also hosts a rich variety of birdlife, including the famous Knysna Loerie and the resort’s own resident owls.

The park caters to campers with 75 well-established sites, spread out across spacious, grassy lawns. Each site is equipped with a dedicated braai place and an electrical point, with Wi-Fi also available for those who need to stay connected. To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, the resort is supported by clean ablution blocks and convenient laundry facilities, making it suitable for both short weekend breaks and longer family holidays.

The true magic of staying at Woodbourne is its immediate access to the diverse natural beauty of Knysna. You are just a short, 500-metre stroll from the safe, calm waters of the tidal lagoon, perfect for families. A little further on, you can explore the miles of untouched ocean beach. As the original description so perfectly puts it, this is a place where you get a little bit of forest, a touch of the mountains, and a whole lot of lagoon right on your doorstep.
