Ohh very nice and peaceful . Personnel is very friendly from general workers to the management.This is our second time here with the whole family.First strip on the night of our arrival we got our car stucked on the river bank sand. In the morning friendly staff members came to our rescue - at no cost😍.We will definitely come back for the third and more 🥰

I had to cancel my stay due to serious health problems. I was promised a full refund. Unfortunately, this promise was not kept, and I received no refund. I cannot review the hotel since I was unable to travel. But who can you trust if they don't keep their promises?

Super happy about the space. It's a lovely chilled campsite with accommodation. Owner is very relaxed and happy to let us do our thing, and the boisterous dogs make the area feel safe. Grateful we had the space to be left alone to fully relax.

My favourite part was taking the paddle boats up the river, as well as all the different nooks to have a nap.

A wonderful space of you are self sufficient, don't require on hand-and-foot service, and understand how nature works (flies come just before it rains).

My husband and I needed an escape from our busy lives, and decided last minute to book a mid week break away for 4 days (tues - Sat) being towards end of winter. We had the whole place to ourselves.

We packed our two pups, booked on booking. com and off we went, 2 hr drive from somerset west (2.5hrs from CT).

We booked the manor house with a fireplace inside and for winter it is a must. We had regular visits from Kahlesi and Kingsley ( 2 gorgeous well tempered ridgebacks). They are socialed and handled our Yappy jack Russel like pro's.

The river front has a beach effect with a lapa for communal lounging and if that is not your vibe, the pool and bar lapa is located at the back of the property.

Glamping tents, wooden cabin, modern container cabin, farmers cottage, manor house and a few other little spots scattered around the plot. The owner has thoughtfully provided as much privacy for all accommodation settings, even when located close to each other.

This place is there to disconnect, recharge and be at one with nature.

This space is great for private events or shared it with other couples and friends.

There are one or 2 improves that can be made but not worth mentioning as the positives far outweighed any negatives.

Thank you to Monique & Kevin for being genuine hosts and the rest of the staff for always greeting and not being intrusive.

We will be back.

If you need a place to unwind, or kids to be kidd and stay off their tech, this is definitely a place to be. My kids enjoyed the canoeing, they had fun with other kids and played around with the owners dogs too. They enjoyed swimming and watched a bit of a light show. Just the place to be at away from a busy lifestyle
