Camping at Goudini Spa after the school holidays is an absolute treat. It’s probably wonderful all year round, but at this time especially, the place feels magical quiet, uncrowded, with so much space to move freely. The low noise levels are an added bonus, creating an atmosphere that is truly peaceful and deeply restful.
If you’re looking for a getaway that’s not too far from Cape Town or even from another province, or simply from everything Goudini is a perfect choice. You can choose from campsites, chalets, or rondavels, whatever suits your style. Either way, you’re in for an unforgettable experience.
From hot water pools (both indoor and outdoor) to activities for all ages, a restaurant, hiking trails, and the chance to meet new people or just chill on your own you set the pace. Nature’s Wi-Fi is free, and once you connect, you begin to unwind, relax, reset, and reboot.
So, if you need to reconnect physically, emotionally, and spiritually; if you want to engage with nature, feel alive, rested, peaceful, and balanced look no further. Goudini has it all.

We stayed in the Slanghoek accommodation. It was quite pleasant and scenic..the facilities were perfect , however the area close to the shop was a bit overbearing with the non stop music pelting in the pool area.. its quite contrary to what you expect in a relaxing resort situated in nature.More thought should be given around this Furthermore what was quite disturbing were the number of school going age kids roaming around, it offsets the peace and serene atmosphere you would expect outside of the school holidays..Ultimately the stay inSlanghoek was enjoyable.

2nd time we choose goudini as family get away... beautiful place rooms clean well maintained.. toilets by the pools clean smells nice 👌the resort is overall well maintained love being there.. was just a bit disappointed that there was no live entertainment this year as I know its ramadaan an we respect that 🙏 I was so looking forward for the entertainment last year there was karaoke valentine modeling competition with our elders leka klopse competition nothing this year even the music was put off by 5 but other then that we had a fabulous time

I am a frequent visitor to Goudini Resort but this was my first time visiting the camp site and also my first time visiting during the festive season, here are a few things that stood out for me
1. The campsites and ablution areas were well kept and clean. I have to give the cleaning staff 12/10 stars, they are always very friendly and helpfull.
2. There was entertainment through out the day, everyday for young and old.The MC/ host of entertainment was extremely funny. I really enjoyed him.
3. There was a Christmas message preached on Christmas day.
On the flip side...some dissapointments were:
1. You need a special prong plug for the extentions lead to fit and I wasnt informed about it...this forked a R240 out of my pocket...very upsetting.
1. On occassion there wasnt water in the toilets to flush
2. At one point I had to shower with cold water cos the hot water was off.
All in all the stay was pleasant and would definately reccommend Goudini Resort to family and friends.

This is the second visit in a row where I’ve left disappointed with Goudini Spa Resort. While we generally enjoy the atmosphere and facilities, the staff handling of issues has been consistently poor.

On a previous visit, our personal towels were taken by staff while we were swimming. When we reported it, we were told the towels were being washed and to collect them before leaving. When we followed up later, we were told they weren’t ready and that we could collect them “when we’re in the area again.” Months later, when we were in the area, we called the resort and were told someone would call us back - that never happened. It makes you wonder: if we had taken the resort’s property, what would it have cost us?

On our most recent visit, I accidentally left a protein supplement in the cupboard I know exactly which cupboard it was in. I called as soon as I got home to explain, and since a relative was still staying there, I offered to send them to collect it. I was simply told that staff didn’t find anything. That leaves two possibilities: either the room wasn’t cleaned properly and cupboards weren’t checked, or the item was found and not handled honestly, neither is acceptable.

We want to enjoy Goudini, but repeated experiences like this make it difficult to recommend. Better accountability and communication from staff would go a long way.
