Our Easter weekend getaway exceeded all expectations at Rametsi! From the moment we arrived until our departure, every moment was filled with excitement, delicious food, and endless activities for the whole family. There was so much thought put into everything we did.
The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the game drives, dam visit, quad biking through the scenic surroundings and hearing the children playing at the swimming pool as they soaked up the sun.
Overall, our Easter weekend getaway was nothing short of amazing. With delicious food, game drives, and activities for the whole family, it was a truly an unforgettable experience. We can't wait to return for another adventure-filled holiday in the future. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable escape into nature! A big thank you to Joe, Michelle and all the staff who made this weekend one to remember.

We did not have a good experience at this place. The staff was so rude, the manager was also rude to the staff. There was no hot water, the tap in our room had rusty water, the room was so dirty with spiders and dust everywhere. In the next day we had to go for a game drive, the car wouldn't start, and the manager said they were going to borrow a car battery 😑. It was a nightmare, I wouldn't recommend this place!

Hi unfortunately we didn’t have a great experience. The bathrooms were not cleaned at all during our stay the entire weekend and we had to contact the office twice for toilet paper. Our firepits were only cleaned once over a three day period. The game drive and dam was a great experience but think management need to step up in the overall maintenance of the camp sites

Just got back from our second trip to Rametsi Lodge. We attended a dog training workshop there in September and decided to return with family who are currently visiting from the UK. Rametsi is currently being upgraded and there was a huge improvement already. I can't wait to see what has changed when I go back next. This will be on the agenda for any overseas visitors as it is amazing value for money and there are lots of wonderful African experiences.

We went on a sunset walk through the game farm, had quad bike lessons and then did a long outride to the dam. We were treated to a sunset game drive on our last night. Joao also had some great suggestions regarding nearby experiences. It is well worth contacting him up front so you can arrange some off site adventures too.

The lodge area has a swimming pool, lovely bar and dining area. Lots of space to enjoy food and drinks and to relax. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

We have enjoyed a peaceful long weekend camping with friends. There are lots if trees and grassy stands. Joao was an excellent host going out his way to make us comfortable. The dam is outstanding and the property in general is magnificent. There is a continuous improvement process under way. We look forward to returning to see the future plans unfold.
