Been coming here for 15 years and love it everytime. Beautiful views. Animals everywhere. And just exactly what you need for a camp site ♡

Very bad experience. The “heated pool” feels like bath water that cooled off. It also smelled inside the building and the sliding door doesn’t work properly. The bathroom facilities are not clean. When we booked into the rooms The bathtub was not cleaned out and one of the blankets was dirty. The staff members were fighting in-front of the campers. There is FESES EVERYWHERE . There is an area where the staff stay and you can see all the rubbish laying around. There is visible rubbish lying around the Terrain. Honestly the camping grounds ARE NOT Clean. The gardens are not catered to. And at the entrance of the camp site there is garbage and bins and storage bins lying around. The braai areas are not cleaned. I guess you pay for what you get

Not a happy camper. We camp at Aasvoëlkrans during August. Not a to bad place over all but the joint stand from 1 to 31 is the worst place to pick. The stands are very small and the braai facilities is to close to the sites. Fire Hazard galore, especially when you have people camping next to you with absolutely not camping etiquette and making the biggest fire they can make right next to you caravan or trailer. Have been smoked out of my own home the next day because we asked the people to settle down after 12 at night. The ablutions was not to bad, but the ablutions closes to use did not have any water during the mornings.

We had a nice relaxing weekend. They have a small shop that is not badly priced including a liquor store. Warm and cold pools under roof and a big pool outside. We enjoyed the predator park as well as the Rooibok that walks amongst the campsites. Neat ablution facilities as well.

The past year this place went from 3 star to no star. Staff is rude and so unhelpful. Thomas and his team and Wikus that answer the phone is great. The rest must learn on how to treat clients and be friendly. Specially ladies in shop. Tendai that is the so called party planner must be fired, useless. Thomas can take over. Nothing was set out for our wedding as promised. Table cloths and chair covers that we had to pay for was dirty and burned. Chalets and houses stink of cat pee and mould. Roofs leaking and places are dirty. Moneys took over, making mess of dustbins as its not being emptied. Place have so much potential but nothing are being maintained. Chapel was beautiful but white carpet that we asked for, dirty and stink of cat pee. Will never ever go there out of free will again.
