We had a lovely 4night stay at Big Creek from 12-16 Feb. Quanika was friendly when we arrived and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. When we had a minor issue with a blocked pipe, Stefan came to the rescue speedily. The property is well taken care of and the animals are friendly. Some minor upgrades would have made this review a 5⭐

I recently had an amazing stay at Big Creek, and I can't say enough good things about it! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the stunning natural beauty of the surroundings. The campsite was nestled in the heart of a dense forest, with towering trees providing a sense of serenity and calm.

The campsite itself was incredibly well-maintained, with clean and modern amenities that were always well-stocked and easily accessible. The bathrooms and showers were immaculate, and there was always plenty of hot water for a refreshing shower after a long day of exploring.

But what really stood out to me was the sense of hospitality from the stuff everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and it felt like we were all part of a big family.

Overall, I would highly recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a fun and memorable outdoor adventure. The staff were friendly and helpful, the facilities were top-notch, and the surrounding scenery was absolutely breathtaking. I can't wait to come back and visit again soon!

Really lovely resort, friendly staff, the play area and pool were clean and tidy. Our grandson loved the jungle gym. We throughly enjoyed our 3 day getaway. Cabins are air conditioned and clean. Will definitely go back.

We had a lovely two night stay in the guinea fowl chalet. Room, towels and bedding was nice and clean. Aircon and gas geyser worked really well no issues with electricity or plumming. Cutlery and crockery needs to be updated as some was missing and other damaged. The grounds and animals are well kept and the staff and owners are friendly and helpfull. The zebra's were our favourite. Take mozquito repellent and extra bug spray. The braai's are new and work really well. Older braai's also available for bigger groups. Security guard did rounds, we felt safe and had a relaxing break. We will be going back again. Thank you Big Creek Lodge.

Had an absolute killer time here. Everyone is friendly.
Gorgeous place with some animals roaming around. Bathrooms are spacious. Campsites are spacious. The Generator doesnt service campsites yet, i really hope it does by our next visit. Kids play area and a swimming pool very well maintained. They have a bar area as well. I would recommend this place anytime.
