Description

Located a short drive from the town of Brits, Drie Berge Caravan Park is a well-established resort that makes the most of its beautiful bushveld setting. The park, whose name translates to "Three Mountains," is situated with views of the surrounding hills, creating a scenic and relaxing backdrop for a family getaway. It's known for its lush, green environment, with plenty of mature evergreen trees offering welcome shade from the North West sun.

The resort features 47 well-maintained campsites, each designed to provide a sense of space and comfort. These spacious, grassed stands are thoughtfully laid out, ensuring a pleasant and practical "home away from home" during your stay. The park’s modern and clean ablution facilities support a hassle-free camping experience for everyone.

Where Drie Berge really shines for families is in its on-site activities. The swimming pool area is a major draw, featuring not only a large, sparkling pool for general swimming but also a heated pool for cooler days and a supertube for the kids (and kids at heart). For anglers, there are fishing opportunities available, and a dedicated play area keeps younger children entertained. It’s this combination of comfortable camping and ample on-site entertainment that makes Drie Berge a reliable favourite for a complete and easy weekend getaway.

I can see they have poured into making this place lovely. No chalets, just camping and day visitors. But they have a number of pools for different ages and preferences, a dam to row on and you can braai next to. A friendly bunch in the Winkel. Tennis court, rustic but fun slim n slide. Lovely grass lawn. Just a lovely place to go and recharge. We really felt welcom.

Stunning absolutely stunning and worth the R100 entrance admitting fee. Lots of things to do. Hot water swimming pool with a huge slide and canoe on the river. Trampolines galore.
The small shop needs more attention with a wider variety.

We enjoyed our camping next to the river.
Friendly staff and helpful.
Clean bathrooms and spacious
Shop supplies are limited and a bit expensive.
Pools are great and clean
A few activities available like canoeing and hiking and games like tennis table and pool.

We were a group of 4 vans. I enjoyed the weekend thoroughly. The sites are big, and one does not feel squashed at all. The ablutions are sparkling clean, and the facilities are wonderful. The pools are lovely and I was sorely tempted to take a bath in the hot pool, it was so lovely and warm. The fishing g was well appointed and easily accessible. We were very close to the river and it was cold there at midnight and in the early morning. We expected that. There is lots of shade. The tuckshop is good, and there were delicious jaffles on sale, at very good prices. They were well worth the money. All in all a great. Isit
