Bosveld Oase

Perfect for a family weekend breakaway from our busy lifestyle. The location is quiet and beautiful. No road noise. Beautiful green grass stands, even in the winter. Will most definitely be back.

I had a very disappointing experience at Bosveld Oase and would not recommend it to anyone looking for a safe and relaxing getaway.
First of all, the campground itself is poorly maintained. There are holes all over the place where the sprinklers are, and none of them are visibly marked. This is a serious safety hazard and it’s incredibly easy to trip or damage your equipment if you’re not constantly watching your step.
On top of that, the camping spots are far too cramped. There is barely any space between you and your neighbors, which completely ruins any sense of privacy or peace. You feel like you’re camping on top of each other rather than enjoying the outdoors.
What made things even worse was the complete lack of communication. There were no clear rules provided before booking, nor were they explained upon arrival. This leads to confusion and inconsiderate behavior from other guests, making the overall environment frustrating and disorganized.
Lastly, the water slides they advertise so heavily are honestly dangerous. Instead of being fun, they feel unsafe, they actually lift you off the slide and throw you around unpredictably. It’s more nerve wrecking than enjoyable and definitely not something I would consider suitable for families or kids.
Overall, this place needs serious improvements in safety, organization, and basic guest communication. I won’t be returning.

Had the best weekend, camping at bosveld oase.
Plenty of fun activities for the young ones, aswell as warm swimming pools & fishing for the adult.
100% would reccomend to anyone, whether you are camping, caravaning or staying in a chalets, you wil be entertained the entire time

The campsite is nice overall, but the dam really needs attention. The algae buildup makes it almost impossible to fish, which is very disappointing. The stands are also quite close together, making the area feel overcrowded. If the dam is properly maintained, this would be a much better experience.

Our recent stay was deeply disappointing and not at all what we expected when making the booking. The atmosphere felt more suited to a retirement facility than a holiday destination, with extremely strict rules — particularly the complete prohibition of music — which were neither communicated prior to booking nor explained upon arrival. This lack of transparency significantly impacted our experience.
Considering we spent R10,000 on accommodation, the value for money was simply not there. The beds were uncomfortably hard, making it difficult to rest properly and leaving us feeling as though we had slept on wooden surfaces rather than proper mattresses.
Overall, the environment lacked warmth, energy, and the social atmosphere one would expect from a getaway. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we would not recommend Bosveld Oasis,
