We did a quick overnight stay at Springbokpan, just outside the McCarthy's Rest border. It was a great, convenient stopover before crossing into Botswana. Fernando was a fantastic host - friendly, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. We only wish we'd had more time to explore the grounds, but we had an early start to reach the border post. We'd happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone travelling through the area.

We stayed here two Saturdays in a row, in our way into and out of Botswana.

We camped the first Saturday and booked two rooms for our return Saturday.

The grounds are well kept, clean and inviting. Beautiful and peaceful.

Wonderfully equipped communal kitchen.

Ablutions clean and in good working order.

Fernando was amazing! Easy communication when booking, very kind and friendly during our stay, and full of good advice.

Relaxing getaway.
Fernando runs very well equipped self catering chalets and is a very knowledgeable and hospitable host.Nothing is too much trouble.
Close to the Botswana border ,so ideal for a stop over into the Trans Kalahari Game Reserve.

We had a great time away from everything and everyone. There is wifi, basically no cellphone reception. Other than that it was perfect even without cellphone service! The owners went above and beyond to give us the best time since our honeymoon. They took us on a night game drive, we had good meals, everything was just better than what we thought it would be, especially because it's between nothing and nowhere.

We recently had the privilege as a hunting group to visit Springbokpan Guest Farm. We experienced a wonderful time whilst there.
The accommodation, kitchen and ablution facilities were great as well as the skinning and coldroom facilities. I can really recommend it if you want an excellent hunting trip. We felt really welcome and the owner went out of his way to make it a memorable experience.
