We had a great time camping in the campsite. There are 10 sites. Each has water close by as well as electricity. Sadly we never had water and electricity because the power lines got knocked out during an electrical thunderstorm! It was not too long till it was restored. Anyway, was part of the adventure. The farm is huge! We drove around and saw all the game that they have, was spectacular! We did a few night drives and saw Bat eared foxes as well as an Aardvark which was a first for us. We had site two, which had good shade from 12 o clock, which we preferred. The lawns around the camp is really nice. We even had the farm spaniel, Tessa, come and join us, such a gentle animal. The ablution block was more than sufficiently equipped with lovely warm showers! They were cleaned daily, even though we were only two families in the camp site. They were spotless! It was so peaceful and quiet. The swimming pool by the camp site was lovely and refreshing, in the heat of the day!! We had breakfast in the guesthouse one morning and it was delicious!! The bar was also a treat, we watched the rugby there! Would I go back? Well, we have already planned our next trip!!

A decent stop in the Karoo, very old world type accommodation and guest house vibe.
Sadly the manageress was very prickly.
When we booked she said we could braai rather than eat off the menu, but when we went to braai we’d been given the fire place in the games room. We did eventually manage to get to use a braai in the boma, but reluctantly.
The service seemed to be suddenly improving when she brought us cutlery and crockery, only for us to find a R500 charge on the bill for use of them.
It’s a decent enough place but we won’t be back due to the grumpy service.

What a beautiful stay in the middle of the Karoo. We chose to go during the July school holidays so it was bitterly cold at night, but sitting next to the roaring fire in the lounge then climbing into a heated bed made it amazing. Great venue for kids to disappear for hours just enjoying nature.

I had such an amazing time. My whole family and friends enjoyed it. The service was great. The workers were all friendly. The meals were so good. Food I normally hate turned into amazing food. There is so much activities. It is a great place to take photos.

We didn't stay in the rooms so can't rate the rooms, however we looked around the whole guest lodge and loved everything we saw.
We stayed in the campsite under a gorgeous willow tree. Each campsite has a built in braai and electric point.
The abultions were great and clean.
We were able to buy the best hardwood braai wood that was delivered to our campsite and also braai broodjies.
The campsite has the most exquisite swimming pool.
Buck and peacocks as well a giant tortoise came to visit us.
The amenities at the guest lodge, which we also had access to, were amazing, bowls, trampoline, putt putt, table tennis and darts to name a few.
We will definitely be going back for a weekend to stay in the guest lodge and would love to visit the boma
