Lekoa Lodge delivered an exceptional experience during our stay for Round 2 of the GXCC (Cross Country Motorcycle Championship) event. From arrival to departure, everything reflected quality, comfort, and a peaceful environment that made the weekend both productive and enjoyable.
Great Views
One of the standout features of Lekoa Lodge is the scenery. The views are wide, open, and calming, offering a true break from city noise. Whether you are standing outside early in the morning or relaxing after a long race day, the surroundings give a sense of space and natural beauty. It is the kind of place where you can actually switch off mentally and reset.
Peace and Quiet
Despite hosting a busy racing group, the lodge maintained a strong sense of peace and quiet. There is no constant disturbance or unnecessary noise, which made it ideal for recovery after long race days. Even with engines, bikes, and event preparation happening, the lodge layout and atmosphere still allow for proper rest and downtime.
Quality Bedding
The accommodation itself was excellent. The bedding was clean, comfortable, and of high quality. After long days at the GXCC event, having a proper bed made a huge difference in recovery. Everything felt fresh and well maintained, and the rooms were clearly prepared with attention to detail. Good sleep was never a problem here.
Great Venue Overall
Lekoa Lodge proved to be a very capable venue for hosting teams and participants in an event like the GXCC motorcycle cross country championship. There is enough space for gear, vehicles, and group coordination without feeling cramped. The layout works well for both relaxation and practical race preparation. It feels organised and suited for sporting groups.
GXCC Round 2 Experience
Being there for Round 2 of the GXCC motorcycle cross country championship added to the experience. The lodge served as a solid base for riders and support crews. It allowed easy focus on racing while still having a comfortable place to return to afterward. The balance between sport intensity and restful accommodation was well managed.

This is a beautiful campsite, very well kept and with great showers. Even a heated indoor swimming pool inside the very good restaurant and bar area A gorgeous stopover or a longer stay.

Great for small escapes with a bunch of options for Accommodation and Facilities, Love to take the Quads and go ride

This is an Oasis in the Freestate, now this is not the ideal location if you are not adventurest because a lot of people are stereo type and find it difficult to go that extra kilometre to experience something unique. Lekoa Lodge exceeded our expectations, we were on a trip from Durban to Bela Bela and I did some googling for accommodation that we could stop over and the only one that stood out from the rest was this place ( top reviews) yes it's about 20km from the N3 Villiers, dirt road but in good condition, from the moment we arrived Ronel and Hannelie could not do enough to make us feel welcome 🤗 and also went out of their way to get us settled, the Lodge is immaculate and very well maintained. One could not believe that a high quality lodge could exist in the middle of nowhere, genuinely it felt like arriving at a mini Sun City. Beautifully manicured green lawns, indoor and outdoor sparkling pools (indoor heated) new thatched roofing, a chapel for weddings, this is a must stop over Lodge come on live life a bit.🤗👌👌
