Description

For those seeking a classic, no-fuss escape on the banks of the Vaal Dam, @97Weltina offers a tranquil retreat focused on the simple pleasures of fishing and family time. Located between Deneysville and Oranjeville, the resort is reached via a 3km stretch of gravel road, a short transition that takes you from the tarmac of the R716 and into a more peaceful, waterside environment.

The resort is designed so that dedicated anglers don’t have to leave the rest of the family behind. While you settle in for a patient day of fishing along the shoreline, others can make the most of the on-site facilities. A well-maintained swimming pool provides a welcome escape from the Highveld heat, and a dedicated play park will keep younger children happily occupied. The open, spacious grounds also make it a great place for kids to safely ride their bicycles.

The camping here is relaxed, with the focus squarely on the outdoor experience, supported by essential comforts like clean ablution blocks. Beautiful place and the owners are very accommodating... The place is very clean and you dont need to go anywhere else if you looking to relax and spend quality time with friends and family. My only critic would be the maintenance of certain things as the aircons aren't working anymore and the heated pool isnt in working condition as that was what everyone was looking forward to so disappointed in that.
Hopefully these things will be attended to urgently as you want to go to a place better than your home when you go on holiday.

Truly magnificent experience
The venue is clean and ablution facilities are 5 stars.
The owners are remarkable people, and friendly atmosphere.
The farm is located in a large secure area and fencened off.
Take your gazebo have a picnic with the family, fish for Carp and cool off with a splash in the cool pool.
Perfect for camp site with electricity and hot water showers.
