We booked for the weekend and arrived early, we were able to checl in and enter but only got our key to the rondavel at 15:00 so we took the time to explore the resort for the day and swim. Our rondavel was clean,spacious and comfortable and had all the essentials needed. All the swimming pools are well maintained and the different temperatures with slides and supertubes made for a fun and varied experience. We went on the game drive and horse rides and it was a beautiful and fun experience. The staff from reception to the shops and the amenities were friendly and helpful. There is different shops, restaurant and cafe with a variety of selection of food and drinks to choose from. The rinkhals supertube is very enjoyable. It is alot of walking as the resort is very big but you are able to drive between certian points where you want to go. There is also a car wash for guests. Most of the garden and walkways is well maintained they were busy cleaning up when we got there (there is still a bit of work to be done). We did not encouner any dangerous animals (snakes, spiders ect). Overall we had a pleasant and fun stay. Definitely recommend!

First time staying at this Forever resort.
Stayed at the log cabins - Excellent view of the mountains, close by to all amenities and very spacious. Braai stand area needs to be placed undercover - in times of rain and extreme weather, this is a problem!
Rooms also need to be sound proof with regards to the cabin next door - Noisy neighbours can ruin a good night's sleep. Consider these changes please.

Excellent food at the hotel restaurant and great value for money on food and drinks.

Outdoor pools are great. Consider some shade around the main hot pool.
Hydro pools are breath taking. Again, more strict rules for noise control. It should be peaceful and life guards on duty need to be more strict toward noisy guests.

Overall, excellent stay-cation.

Such lovely staff friendly always serving with a smile , enjoying the game drive Harry is an awesome host loves what he does . Very chilled vibes great activities,little convenience store .Just the bedding wow it smelt so bad we only slept in sheets .New blankets needed if you do take your own

The room was infested with ants, they got into all the food and hundreds in the fridge which did not get cold. . Got 4 nasty bites in my bed. Asked the cleaning staff to arrange an insect spray but they never bothered.

Pools were lovely .
Indoor spa was beautiful.
Viewing windows were a nice feature in the main pool, but were dirty and full of spiderwebs and wasp nests.

Have been coming here for years and have always had a great experience. However this time its apparent that maintenance has seriously gone down hill. Tall grass, weeds everywhere and dirty pool water to name a few. Mosquitos were especially annoying walking to the pool areas due to the state of the gardens. I find this especially unusual considering Dec/Jan is peak season.
