Well established holiday resort. Lots of entertainment for young and old. The restaurant is affordable, we paid R1350 for meals and drinks for a family of 8 grown ups. Pool tables available with braai areas at the pools. An indoor heated pool is also available. Ample of space with shade with chairs and tables.
Ablution blocks are very clean but outdated, still in a very good condition.
Braai areas at the camp sites are cleaned every morning. There are water and electricity points at each camp site.
The staff is very helpful in the office and camp grounds.
There is a short gravel road to the resort.

Lovely bushveld resort which is exceptionally neat and well maintained. Hot water swimming pool, numerous water slides and excellent pub and restaurant. Large shop and everything well priced. Has well set out camping stands and chalets and a 2km bush walk with a small dam for fishing for the kids. A secure electric fence keeps everyone safe. Birds are your constant companions at the camp. Staff friendly and efficient. We'll managed resort and booking in easy.

We went on the Friday and went back on the Sunday as day visitors. It was not too busy. What a lovely experience. Will definitely be back.

We stayed there during late December 2025. It is a huge caravan park and very popular but we will not use this facility again because:

1. Rudest personnel in the bathrooms, reception, bar area, food area and the shop. They obviously hate their jobs. So unfriendly.
2. The bathrooms were clean but old . Serious upliftment necessary. Some of the bathrooms had no lights available.
3. The power connection cannot handle the needs of a camper. Keep on tripping.
4. The sites are on top of each other and not all are marked.
5. 8 x sites share one tap
6. Fireworks were encouraged on old years eve but they allow animals. Don't get it.
7. The warm indoor pool is creepy. Smelley with green water and blue painted pool where the paint peels away.

This is not our kind of holiday resort.

After the rebuilding due to a disastrous fire we were sceptical if it was going to be the same. Yet it is even better. The can improve a little on their shop though. But we came camping not shopping. You don't know about your children unless they are hungry. The place is safe and very children friendly from about 5 to 6 years and above. My kids are planning our next trip after the exams already.
