I had the absolute privilege of staying at their premises this past weekend, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences of my life. It was the weekend I finally proposed to my girlfriend of five years, and the team went above and beyond to make it truly special.

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome — they even surprised us with thoughtful gifts that made our stay feel personal and unforgettable.

A special word of appreciation goes to Gerald, who made our entire experience exceptional. His warm welcome, genuine friendliness, and consistent attentiveness throughout our stay truly stood out.

This was, without a doubt, the best weekend getaway we’ve ever had, and I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone visiting the Kruger area. They don’t just offer accommodation — they create memories.

Our recent stay at Palaborwa Forever Resort was unfortunately disappointing, mainly due to the condition of the tented (safari tents) accommodation. Below is a list of honest compliments and complaints for this resort.

Complaints:
1. The tent we were allocated was moldy and had a strong, unpleasant smell.
2. On arrival, the tent was wet and dirty, which gave a very poor first impression.
3. The zips on the tent were stripped, making it difficult to get in and out.
4. Some tents do not have backup power during power interruptions, which is a serious inconvenience.
5. There was no control over allocated chalet parking. Other guests used our designated parking, forcing us to search for alternative parking spaces.

Compliments:
1. The reception staff were friendly and professional.
2. The cleaning staff were also very friendly and helpful.
3. After we complained about the condition of the tents, the staff accommodated us by moving us to a chalet. Although we had to pay extra, we do appreciate their willingness to assist and improve our stay.

Overall:

The staff were genuinely friendly and tried their best to help, which we appreciate. However, the condition and maintenance of the tents, along with issues like parking control and backup power, need serious attention. With better upkeep and management, this resort has the potential to offer a much better experience.

Campsites are very neat and clean. Bathrooms neat and clean.
Good option to stay for family with young children.

We stood here for one night before heading to Kruger Park. We liked it so far. Affordable and well managed. Sites are sandy, so not so nice after rain. Ablutions are TOP and electricity is available
