Very beautiful campsites, on well looked after lawn. Ablutions are run down and neglected.
Hospitality is very poor and not friendly. We didn't get a welcoming feeling. We would come back for the camp sites.

Horrible service at the restaurant, you wait for over 2 hours just to eat. We had a small baby with us and this was an absolute disaster as they were very hungry. Once the food arrived,we ordered fish,it was below sub par!

Great place for a holiday. The river is a great fishing spot with very nice scenery. Very friendly staff and everything is well looked after. Bird watchers heavan.

The location is superb, the view of the river and mountains are spectacular. Lawn maintenance is on point, the staff is friendly, the food is good, and the pool is sparkling.
The room however, was disappointing, dirt under the bed, water leaks in the bathroom and cockroaches once the lights are out (not nice). Cellphone coverage is also problematic, same with Wi-Fi. Airconditioning would be great too.

Fumigation is needed ASAP, plumbing maintenance, cleaning and maintenance of the room. Would love to visit again if these issues are resolved.

We were quite disappointed with our stay. The carpet in the room was wet and developed an unpleasant odor. Additionally, the kettle was rusted and leaked water from the bottom, making it unusable. The bar also lacked any sugar-free drink options, which was inconvenient for diabetics.

After we had already checked out and were on our way home, we received a WhatsApp message stating that we owed R30, followed by just a question mark a few hours later. This felt unprofessional — a phone call would have been a more appropriate way to communicate. Moreover, the waiter had the entire day to inform us about the outstanding amount but said nothing.

Overall, we feel the staff would benefit from further customer service training to improve future guest experiences.
