The location is great in terms of access to the beach and being secure. Trafalgar itself is starting to feel run down but the South Coast has its issues as a whole. There are great places to visit around the area with good restaurants and other beaches within 20kms.
The camp site was quiet so for us it was ideal, just sad for the owners as it is well run, clean, tidy and generally well kept. Nice small pool for the hot days when the wind is up. Small games room could do with attention but not really applicable to us.
I would recommend this for a South Coast stay.

We had a great stay at Port O’ Call Caravan Park over our December Christmas holiday. Awesome sea views, chilled South Coast vibe and really friendly service from the staff. The park is neat and well looked after, and the nearby Blue Flag beach is clean and perfect for swimming. Really enjoyed our time here — would definitely visit again! 👍

We spent 7 days at Port O Call, over New Years with our family, that has kids ftom ages 1 to 9 years. They had a great time, and we always felt relaxed and allowed them room to explore and play.

The campsites were of a good size, bins emptied daily, a lady will wash dishes for a fee, easy 2 minute walk to the beach, clean toilets (although quite old ablution block), responsive owners if problems are experienced.

We camped on site 5, which has a lot of ants and flies, so be prepared and bring doom if you cant handle them, as much as its part of outdoor camping.

There is 220v power, no blue adapters needed, and water taps scattered about in close vicinity.

No built in braai setups at the camp, but there are behind the games room, adjacent to the playground.

Very beautiful camping and caravan sites. Beautifully looked afte garden and lawn. Direct access to the wide and clean beach. Ablutions very clean.
All camping sites are beautiful.

Clearly we went to the wrong Port O Call Caravan Park. Please share with us where this one is that you are all raving about.

What people are raving about and what they experienced sounds great. Just wish we could have experienced it as well. No such luck though.

When we dared to share our experience with the Manager via email. We got a very short, curt response telling us
" Maybe you should stop Camping"

We will stop Camping but only at Parks like Port O Call. In 42 years of Camping all over the Country, we have never experienced anything like this.
A park with a 5% occupancy over a long weekend while all the others around them were fully booked says a lot.
