We had a lovely stay at TO Strand, the camp site was flat and well shaded. Ablution block was clean and modern. The river front view is awesome. Pool and games area perfect for the family and a beautiful beach. Will definitely be back.

Great location with access to their own beach, I especially enjoyed the early morning and evening walks on the beach.
The chalet we were in requires some TLC.
We did raise 2 issues during our stay and they were both promptly rectified.

Absolute disappointment! The strong damp smell is a health risk. We spoke to four members of staff as soon as we entered today and no one got back to us. We let the place air and stayed outdoors until the very late at night. I’m currently up with my daughter who is now unwell due to the dampness!!! This establishment has great outdoor facilities but the chalets are very poorly maintained. We booked 6 chalets and there are different complaints in each one. I’m not sure if all the other chalets are like this or we were just given the 6 worst ones. I do see that there are many complaints about the dampness which means nothing has been done to solve this. This chalet should not be rented out in opinion until the walls are sorted.

Very disappointed in how facilitators treated our kids. As if they were in a prison. They went on a school camp and we trusted you and paid for it. This morning I heard my son and his friend talk about the camp. How you punished them. Took away their beach time. For what. Because they are kids and want to have fun. How can a cabin be left without electricity. When the baboons raided my kids cabin. No one came to help them or assist in cleaning the cabin. They had to do it themselves. It seems more like a concentration camp than a school camp.

A great camping experience for the family; awesome facilities. Unfortunately we weren't told about the ablation renovations when booking our site and therefore had to walk to the other side of the (vert large!) campsite to use the facilities. I do feel they should have mentioned this and suggested booking on that side of the campsite.
