Gooderson Drakensberg Gardens

This hotel is wonderful!!! Lovely friendly staff. Delicious food in the 4 restaurants. So many activities, stunning views of the mountains. Nice big rooms and bathrooms. Very comfortable huge beds. Satellite TV with many channels and good wifi. Small fridge, tea and coffee station. Kettle. Heater. The Spa is a must. Heated pools and jacuzzi. Look forward to my next visit.

Has a lot of potential. Shame that it’s so far from it. Stunning location and I find the room really cozy. However, because it’s so isolated you really rely the on estate facilities. I was unable to play pickleball because I did not have cash to make the deposit… the restaurant was at half capacity and I was told it would be 30-40 mins for food at 2pm. The WiFi in our rooms doesn’t work: it’s a good thing I have enough data to hotspot or I would have had to leave. All in all, it’s a nice get away where you’ll be safe. However due to its isolation it is really disappointing I had trouble trying to complete activities and get food.

Very good scenery and atmosphere. Close to Underberg so very convenient. Lots of activities and hikes to do. Campsite is well maintained and has bathrooms and a kitchen area along with a freezer and firepit on each campsite.

Wow! What a wonderful place. Such lovely views, amazing service, so many activities and entities. Thank you for the wonderful service from the staff! Definitely going to be back again! Sad Im going to miss the snow ❄️🌨️ 🤣! Thank you! No complaints at all!

I've been in underberg since Friday with my family. The only place with proper kids activities is this place yet we are not being allowed as day visitors. I've called since Friday till today Sunday and still we cannot access the facilities. And we are oy 3 ppl
