Mount Splendor had always is a favorite of our kids and we enjoy taking them there. The staff are so friendly, from online booking to in person interactions. We rented the safari tent and beds for this trip, and everything was extremely comfortable and the tent clean and well prepared. There is so much for the kids to do like the pool, playground and feeding the animals. Tao also deserves a special mention for keeping the kids entertained with a variety of activities. We always felt extremely safe on the property and so did our kids. We cannot wait to keep coming here year after year.

We recently spent 3 nights in one of the glamping units towards the end of the site and loved out stay. The location is perfect for activities in the area and the site itself was kept in great condition, despite the amount of rain they had had recently. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful and we felt very safe. The pool is fabulous, the open spaces are great for games and play and the weekend scones and coffee was a lovely addition to the hospitality. Definitely worth a visit

We recently hosted a weekend function at Mountain Splendour, and it was nothing short of exceptional from start to finish. The level of service and attention to detail truly stood out — nothing was ever too much trouble, and the team was constantly on the move, making sure everything ran smoothly and seamlessly.

Their willingness to assist, adapt, and go the extra mile made the entire weekend stress-free and incredibly enjoyable. You could genuinely feel that they cared about the success of our event and the comfort of every guest.

A very special thank you to Septima, Nera, Tao and Leon— your dedication, professionalism, and warm hospitality did not go unnoticed. You were absolute stars and played a huge role in making the weekend such a success.

We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a well-run, beautifully managed space with outstanding service.

Our first visit to Mnt Splendour but def not our last we loved it here. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Views spectacular. We enjoyed everything. Ablutions very clean and modern. We were camping but they have glamping and cottage options as well. Went for beautiful walks and my man ran a couple of times to. My son played golf everyday across the road. Can’t wait to come again !

Beautiful, well run family eco resort. We're camping with prime berg view. Sites are shaded by beautiful trees and well leveled with no damming of water. Stunning, neat and clean ablutions. Children's paradise. Well equipped kiddies play area, with beautiful pool. Scones and tea /coffee serve daily free of charge.
