Bivane Dam

Absolutely love this place!!!
We've stayed here a umber of times over the years and it never disappoints.

We've stayed in the 2 sleeper chalets at the dam wall. There's a kitchenette, bathroom and couch downstairs and the bedroom upstairs with a beautiful picture window looking out onto the dam. The only issue there was that our braai wasn't o our veranda, but down more steps onto the ground level. We've also stayed in the 4 sleeper units which have lovely outdoor boma braai areas. There's also a campsite and 4x4 camps.

The drives are very scenic as the flora is so different. No matter what time of the year you visit. The birdlife is amazing ad with no dangerous animals on site you can walk the area to get close up photos.

THere's a swimming pool ad a little shop onsite. So eve for the o-water sports lovers there's lots to do.

Reasonably priced and relaxing .... what more could you want?

Beautiful nature. Great accommodation and huge bass. Go there. You won't regret it 👍🏻

Absolute gem!!! It’s a little bit rustic but that adds to the appeal. It’s a small resort so there’s no overcrowding. Meticulously maintained and cleaned. Extremely well managed.
And then there’s the scenery, god was just showing off with the drama of this area. Absolutely stunning. The 4x4 tracks are very well maintained allowing you to explore so much.
Well worth it!

There is camping, chalets and a house available to rent.
We stayed in the house which has 4 bedrooms. You are also allowed to set up a few tents in the yard of the house.
The house is well stocked with everything you need from kitchen ware to plenty of chairs / tables etc.
A very awesome view overlooking the dam, with a swimming pool and fire pit on the deck.
There are some great trails for hiking or running, as well as some 4x4 routes fir the adventurous.
Stunning natural bush & animals.
The fishing is also good here (apparently) however we did not fish.
