From our first contact with Dominique, they were absolutely fantastic to communicate with. She was friendly and professional throughout the booking process and during the weekend too.

Thank you to Uncle Dries as well for welcoming us and making sure we had everything we needed for a great weekend.

The camping spot itself had beautiful views of the mountains and bush, with great sunrises and sunsets. Everything was well kept and the bathrooms were exceptionally clean, which is always a big plus when camping.

We had a lovely stay and will definitely be back. Thank you, Tavalingwe!

It's not just value for money; it's also very tranquil and practical. It has a lot of things to keep children occupied. The swimming pools are great as well, including a heated one by the restaurant. The food is fresh. Totally loved their chicken strips and pure beef burgers. They don't sell alcohol on the premises, so be sure to bring your own. Their shop has wood and ice at reasonable prices. We opted for a chalet, but they have very good campsites as well. It is family-run, so you really feel welcomed. Dominique communicated with us at every turn before we arrived, so we were up to speed in terms of what to expect. The chalets very clean and are fully equipped with what you'll need, but it depends from person to person. Their game drives are worth it, obviously not like the Kruger, but Mr Andries Van Der Merve (Guide) makes it very interesting. You'll also get to see lions Close-up on the drive, and other general game.

Hi fellow campers, it's the first time that we have visited this caravan park after been invited by friends. We were 5 couples that ventured out in the cold. 31st July 2026.What an amazing reception we received, friendly and professional. The park has level stands with tap, electrical point and a stand braai.
The game drive was excellent and alot of information was given. Thanks. We really enjoyed our stay thank you. I will recommend this camp to all. 🙏

What a beautiful campsite! We had such a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and relaxed atmosphere. The campsite was clean, well maintained and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

The location was perfect for getting away from the busy everyday life and enjoying nature. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole experience was exactly what we needed.

We will definitely be back and would highly recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

Lovely camping site with very nice ablution blocks - clean and well maintained for showers / toilets.

We had a small mishap - we forgot sugar for our coffee and only realized at night. Their shop was out of stock, but when we asked when they would get stock, they went out of their way to organize a cup of sugar for us and left it in front of the shop for us to fetch. That kind of service really stands out.

The only small disappointment for us was that we were hoping to hear and see wildlife roaming around the camp at night. We only saw some bucks on the hiking trail. They do offer a wildlife tour for R200 on the other side of the property / across the tar road where you can see wildlife and lions, but we wished the bush experience was a bit closer to the campsite.

Overall we had a great stay and would recommend it. 4/5
