My fiancé and I have been visiting Dimalachite for the past five years—every December and often over long weekends during the rest of the year. It has become our absolute favorite getaway. It’s conveniently close to Johannesburg and just a short drive from the town of Parys, making it the perfect escape without traveling too far.

The camping sites offer breathtaking views and an incredible variety of wildlife, all in a peaceful, quiet setting that truly allows you to relax and soak in nature. If you enjoy fishing or river rafting, this is definitely the place to be.

The ablution facilities are well maintained, and the on-site shop has everything you need for those inevitable snack cravings and essentials. If you haven’t visited Dimalachite yet, consider this your sign to go—you won’t regret it. If I could stay longer, I absolutely would.

Great place for fishing! Had a very busy weekend. Caught lots of big fish. Ablutions were kept clean. Beautiful environment 👌 We were camping.

Absolutely stunning place. The ladies made sure we had everything we needed and more. The hiking (fishing) trail was a little bit misleading though, needs maintenance. Overall 5 starts!!

We visited Dimalachite on Saturday, 25th of October for River Rafting. They are very professional but sadly their bathrooms are in a very bad state.
You would think that they would extend the same professionalism throughout their facility.

The place is well kept everywhere else and the river rafting was amazing.
Ablutions are a high risk space for disease and should be taken seriously.
I hope that you receive this review with grace and correct the problem.
