Mountain View

Camping site was right against a street where I can only presume people working odd night shifts stay, with constant vehicles, hooting and noisy gates. So location wise- not so great. However the bathrooms were super clean and tidy, the camping grounds were clean with water & electric points for each site, and safe, so for a 1 night stop over, quite okay!

Got into town just as the sun was setting. This hotel is a life savor as it’s currently raining and 48F (9 C) 🥶 and we had planned on camping. Luckily, rooms were available! The WiFi doesn’t seem to work in the rooms but that’s a small price to pay in exchange for a warm, comfy bed and a hot bath. The rooms are also very affordable and clean ☺️.

Very nice getaway, the only problem is the shouting and noise from the school/ learning centre across the road on week days. Only 1 row of camp sites, next to the road has electricity, be prepared if you camp further down. Ablutions are lovely, very clean, bath and showers.

What a treat to find this camp site. It is absolutely delightful. 10 stands up against the mountains in a huge area like a park. Good water and electricity and excellent ablutions with bath, showers and fresh towels!! Spotless. Good laundry facilities. Thank you so much

Friendly people and a great stay over. Your caravan just should be able to take some of the worst roads I traveled on this 5700 km trip of mine. A pitty to see how many municipalities has no other capital except for the massive salaries they draw. Mountain view has live up to expectations
