The room was not as clean as my expectations, the floor tiles have stains needs proper mopping, shower curtain not clean. Won’t book for sleep over again.

We booked what was advertised as luxury camping for our family, but it was anything but:

Hardly any grass — we had to pitch our tent in the dirt.
Power outlets not working.
Blocked bathroom drain.
Loud music late into the night.
Dogs barking near our site all night.
No proper shower — just a bath with a hand shower and curtain.
Facilities worn, dirty, and far from “luxury”.

We had two pensioners with us who were extremely unhappy, so we packed up and left. When I raised this politely with reception, management refused a refund and only offered a credit — useless to us as travellers passing through from another country.

Their follow-up was silence. No further effort to make things right.
My advice: If you value cleanliness, peace, and honesty in advertising — stay far away from Maselpoort.

We'll were should I start. Took my boys Fishing and to enjoy the pools and supe tubes. Maselspoort was once a great place to go with family and now it is sort of a dump, resort is not well looked after and dustbins is falling apart and overflowing with rubish, then there is the kids pool with slides, chop bones and chicken bones lying around the pool side bones with sharp points and children playing and running around the pool accident waiting to happen...Unexceptable!!! Put Put area looks like a dump and falling apart. Fire places not cleaned old bones and charcoal still sitting in the braaiers no one's cleans them, I had to clean someone else's dirty braai and area and pick up rubish. The whole of Maselspoort resort is dirty and not well managed. Old coal lying close to pools. Water is green and park is dirty. Won't recommend Masselspoort for anyone with kids because of allot of safety hazards mot in place.

The chalets can be given some love as they're abit outdated and old mattresses...the place is great for group outings but in general the accommodation its self can do with some proper attention...the pools are great and clean though
