Forever Resort Gariep

Hi fellow campers, on numerous occasions (x3) we have visited this caravan park when traveling to Sea Ackers Caravan Park in Port Elizabeth Well the caravan park is well kept and the sites are clean and neat. It's safe and secure. A must if you're been on the road for hours and need a stopover.

Main hall, swimming pool, camp-site, luxury chalets and restaurant are all very nice, neat and well maintained. The tuck-shop, put-put and MTB trails need some serious TLC. Tennis courts are old, but decent. Overall, it’s a perfect midway stop between Jhb and CT.

We stayed overnight at the resort and had a pleasant experience. The chalet was clean, well maintained, and offered a comfortable stay. The surroundings were peaceful and relaxing. We feel we would have enjoyed the facilities even more if we had arrived earlier in the afternoon, as our stay was quite short. Overall, it was a nice place and we would consider visiting again.

The perfect stopover between The Mother City and Johannesburg, and an equally convenient resting point for those traveling to Durban. The area offers a variety of recreational facilities and a serene atmosphere. Overlooking the spectacular Gariep Dam, the view is peaceful and calming — a great place to unwind while watching local fishermen cast their lines. The accommodations are comfortable and practical, with spacious, clean bathrooms and simple yet functional stoves, doors, and microwaves. The beds and blankets are cozy, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. It would be even better if two-pin plug points were available in the rooms.

The place is okay for the price that you are paying, clean, comfortable beds and beautiful location. Though I feel that its time for an upgrade. Its the second time that we went there and last time was 10years ago and the rooms and furniture are still exactly the same
