Lovely camp site, plenty of space, tables, covers and private toilets/ showers per pitch. Best showers of any campsite I’ve stayed at, plenty hot water and very powerful.
Really friendly and helpful staff, could not fault.
Nice bar area with pool table and table tennis.
Amazing location within the reservation.

We had a wonderful stay! The owners were friendly and helpful, the shower with a view was a highlight, and watching animals drink just outside the fence made it extra special. Highly recommended!

We camped at the rustic, off-grid stand called Jordaan Campsite for the weekend. Best experience ever! We had hyenas calling close to camp, and impala, kudu and bluewikdebeest come right into the campsite. Thanks so much for a wonderful weekend, we will be back!

Super, super nice and relaxing. Not a very big camp (LOVE IT), just enough to do to not get totally borred (LOVE IT) and not a lot of stands (LOVE IT). The owners want to keep it small and intimate with no over crowding, and that allows everyone their own space with big areas between stands. The people that camp there are regulars and almost everyone knows everyone as well as the owners.

What a gem, we feel that Elephant Waterhole fits in our top 3 favorite campsites in Dinokeng.
On arrival, Wolly and Nelmare made us feel absolutely welcome, and we felt like we were old friends.
The campsites are huge, ablutions spotless and everything works.
We found the location of the resort to be great as it is pretty central in the Dinokeng reserve. Wildlife and bird life around the campsites is amazing, and the bush sounds are relaxing.
They do have a small kiosk for ice, wood, cood drinks, and ice cream, which works on an honesty system.
There is a small pool, big enough to cool down on those hot days and a small play area for kids.
Plenty space walk and for children to play.
The self-catering rooms are well planned out and spacious.
They have 1 off grid campsite with its own splash pool.
