Dreghorn Kalahari Game Farm

What an unforgettable Kalahari experience! We camped at Dreghorn and loved every minute of our stay. The campsite is peaceful, well-maintained, and the perfect place to experience the beauty of the Kalahari.
Our game drive with Ulrich was exceptional. He is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife and the area. The highlight was enjoying a delicious platter and sundowners on the last dune just before sunset – a truly magical experience that we will never forget.
Tania is the perfect hostess, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. But the biggest asset of Dreghorn is undoubtedly the young couple, Hercules and Chelize. Their enthusiasm, friendliness, and genuine hospitality made our stay extra special. They regularly checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed, and surprised us with a loaf of freshly baked homemade bread straight from the oven – such a thoughtful and heartwarming touch.
Dreghorn offers more than just a place to stay; it offers authentic Kalahari hospitality and memories that will last a lifetime. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special getaway.

Second visit to this farm. Dirk is an amazing host, and nothing is too much trouble. The boma with all it's facilities and honesty bar is a huge convenience and provides almost everything you could want. Plenty cooking utensils and options. Love this place.

4 Rustic campsites each with its own braai area (no grid) and toilet plus shower with hot water. Also a basin. Small swimming pool at the lapa. We enjoyed long early morning walks between the dunes. Hercules was an excellent host that made sure our stay was enjoyable.
