Our camping club, Laager 7, camped there over the weekend of 27th February to 1st March 2026. Despite the heavy rain on Saturday, the camp was a success. It was a memorable mix of camaraderie, resilience, and the unpredictable charm of camping life. The children enjoyed freedom and fun, while parents could relax knowing the park was safe and secure. Mannie's (park manager) hospitality added to the experience. He was very helpful, friendly and understanding. Die Hut proved to be a wonderful venue.

Verdict:
Die Hut is highly recommended — a perfect blend of fun, relaxation, and family adventure!

Fantastic experience. Clean camping site with a small pool to cool off during the day and can be heated for the evening. Just what the doctor ordered , no music and no loudness after 10pm. Our host came to greet us on arrival, arranged wood for the braai, wood for the pool and ice. We ordered a pizza from their whats up number and it was delivered to our camp site. 11 sites available. Each have their own ablution ( except for sites 1-4 which seem to be shared ) We enjoyed our stay and would most definitely be back for more! A&M

Asked the manager if family can visit from a nearby town for a few hours. After booking for four days and also booking an hot tub for extra. Spend R2400. After the family was about to leave my wife received a call saying we must pay for the extra people per night full price. That after they not spending a night. They just came to spend time and also scout the place as they are full rigged professional campers. Their experience and ours was runed by the rudeness after the managers said it was ok. The usual camping croud of ours (future) clients lost.
