Trennerys Hotel & Camping

If you really want to camp it’s okay but if you’re looking to stay in a room I highly do not recommend, the rooms with carpets are moist/humid and smell like mold and they’re so outdated with 0 ventilation, we had to request a room swap because we didn’t get the room that was advertised to us. There isn’t much to do at the hotel, except go tie the beach and eat…on top of that the wifi is HORRIBLE and there’s no wifi in the rooms, it’s only in the common areas like the dining room and the bar, and it never really works.

It’s far away from everything, if you’re looking to be secluded and quiet it’s great.

The service of all staff, and the meals were excellent. We were in cottage 21. It was clean and tidy, but lacked just 2 things.
1) An extra chair, as it was 2 of us. But we received an extra one when we asked, in minutes.
2) A deck with table and 2 chairs. All other cottages have them except 21.
It would have been so nice to sit outside in the morning having a cup of coffee privately. And in the cool of the evening . Our door faced everyone, so we had to keep it closed most times.
Other than that, it was a quite and enjoyable, relaxed atmosphere.

Our first time stay at Trennerys. My wife and I hiked along the Wild Coast from Kob Inn to Morgan Bay, over a period of 10 days.
We were heavily burdened by our back packs, but soldiered on and arrived at Trennerys, before our strength & courage dissippated, although the last stretch up the dunes and seemingly 700 steps, from the beach to the offices, nearly got the better of us. On arrival we were warmly and professionally welcomed. We stayed two nights and found this resort to be a delight for weary hikers. The food, accommodation and personnel were delightful. The ONLY criticism we would venture is the shower rose with a too-fine nozzle action and therefore difficult to have a lovely, powerful shower. However, this might be a water-saving initiative, which is completely understandable. Unfortunately the walk- in glass pane is a bit short, resulting in water leaking from the shower and onto the bathroom floor. This is mitigated by using a floor towel, which helps, but it is unfortunately not ideal.
Our overall stay was wonderful and we will definatly recommend Trennerys to all hikers and visitors to the area.
Thank you Trennerys staff for hosting us so well.
We will be back with family and friends.

I was at Trennerys for a week's workshop wit 22 other colleagues. It's a very beautiful place in a rustic sort of way. The hotel is in the process of upgrading their rooms and although I stayed in an older room, everything was wonderfully clean. The food was fantastic. We ate like kings. The staff was friendly, helpful, kind and very attentive. The swimming pool beautiful. The beach amazing!

Great view from my Room. Room 12 was close to the bar but very noisy during the day. At night very calm with the pool waterfall. WiFi not that great. Food was Amazing.
