The atmosphere at Buccaneers is one of relaxed, friendly, and international camaraderie. The heart of the camping experience is the magnificent communal boma, which serves as the central hub for power and water. This is where you will find the main electrical connection points and water taps, and it’s a natural gathering spot where campers can meet, share stories, and plan their adventures. The campsite itself offers ample, unstructured space, welcoming everything from classic tents and camper vans to rugged rooftop tents and large overland trucks.
While the camping is rustic and communal, you have the incredible benefit of access to all of the main lodge's fantastic facilities. You can make use of the shared kitchen, take a dip in the pool, or join in the fun at the legendary bar and restaurant. The camping area has its own clean, communal bathrooms and dedicated beach access, ensuring you are never far from the sand and surf. With a huge variety of other accommodation, from charming cottages to lively dorms, Buccaneers is a complete and unforgettable Wild Coast experience.
