Sitrusoewer is a great getaway. The camp and ablutions are excellent. We enjoyed cooling off in the river. Good value for money and we will definitely return. Just one negative is no privacy. Sites are quite open and other campers (and their children) walked through our site constantly. Nice and peaceful at nite, but we unfortunitely had a very loud and early up neighbour.

Loved our last minute stay here. Rang on the day and they were able to squeeze us in. Everyone super friendly, especially Chris the caretaker. Happy family vibe. River so fun to swim in. Ablutions really nice.

Another Wonderful Stay at Sitrusoewer in Kirkwood

This was my second stay at Sitrusoewer in Kirkwood—my first being in June 2022—and once again, the experience was nothing short of fantastic. This time, my fiancée and I were joined by the whole family, and we all had a truly memorable time together.

It was a lively weekend with many campers around, and it was clear that everyone was enjoying themselves. Despite the busy atmosphere, the environment remained peaceful and well-maintained. We stayed in one of the luxurious cabins, which was exceptionally comfortable. The air conditioning was a particularly welcome feature and made a big difference, especially during the warmer hours of the day.

Sitrusoewer continues to impress with its beautiful setting, top-notch facilities, and welcoming ambiance. I genuinely look forward to our next visit and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing getaway with family or loved ones.
