Outeniqua Caravan Park

The place is nice and clean. It is a place for caravan and tents. It is a place where you go to relax. Nice intertainment area with a swimming pool. The pool caters from babies to adults. You must enjoy the stay there because I did.

The bush bar's loud music and rowdy patrons have significantly disrupted the peaceful environment of our once tranquil residential area, making it challenging for long-time residents to enjoy their homes. Despite the park's amenities being beneficial for campers, the excessive noise and unruly behaviour are having a negative impact on our quality of life. This weekend, the loud music which started in the morning and persisted until after 10 pm yesterday (Saturday) and resumed again at 10 am today, (Sunday) carrying on well into the evening, exemplifying a recurring problem. When residents request the music be turned down, they're met with aggression and profanity. Zero stars for management who don’t seem to consider their neighbours at all.

The clean bathrooms and shower facilities are great. The pool and the bush pub are both excellent places to relax after a busy day. Will definitely come back next year.

We had a nice vacation at Outeniqua caravan Park. The stands were well grassed.The pool area was lovely, as well as the entertainment area with the pool tables and table tennis. There was entertainment for the kids. The Park had a Christmas trick or treat on Christmas eve which was great fun for the kids and they had santa there to give out gifts. It was a great initiative. The drinks at the bar are well priced and affordable, as was the food. We did however have some challenges. There were no drains on the stand so it was difficult to empty out our dish water etc. There is 1 tap to share between two stands which was difficult at times. We unfortunately did not experience clean or nice smelling bathrooms. The showers were not cleaned very well, we dreaded shower time. There was always other people's hair and sand on the shower floor and 90% of the time the shower floors were soaking wet from the previous person that showered. For three nights we were not able to shower as there was no hot water. The hot water literally ran dry while I was showering and there was only pressure from the cold water. When I ran the bath water for my daughter the following day the water was brown. There were a few occasions when the bathrooms ran out of hand soap too. Luckily it was refilled the next day. We generally had a good experience but the cleanliness of the bathrooms was disappointing and that's a biggy for us. The caravan Park itself feels safe and is located close to restaurants, Klein brak Beach and shops. You don't have to drive very far for anything. Overall we had a good experience and stay but the bathroom cleanliness was not fun.
