A true paradise haven of a campsite! Absolute tranquility surrounded by majestic mountains. The fountain pond is the perfect spot to unwind. And honestly—where else do you find ablution blocks stocked with two‑ply toilet paper?

The showers are fantastic: just turn on the hot and cold taps—no waiting around like at other campsites—and the gas geysers work beautifully. The water pressure is brilliant too. There’s also a clean, convenient washing-up area for dishes.

Best of all, the two owners, Marius and Jerry, are hands-on and incredibly friendly. This is an amazing campsite. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

I can highly recommend this campsite. I have been to many sites, this is one of South Africa’s Best ! The owners was amazing and came everyday past to check if all is good and that we are happy. We had the most wonderful stay at Molenrivier. Jerry and Marius have been very friendly and helpful, dealing with all issues we had during our stay. The campsite is not far away from the next city, but gives you a feeling of being far away from civilization. You can hear many different birds in the morning, while enjoying your beautiful lookout in the nature or your own little fire (wood available). Ablutions are very clean and nicely build (for 9 campsites there are 4 toilets and 4 showers, so you never have to wait). We’d definitely recommend staying at this wonderful campsite!

Amazing experience!
What an amazing 3 night breakaway. Spectacular scenery, a beautiful dam to swim in or fish, and lots of outdoor things to do in the surrounding areas. Ablution were well taken care of. If you want to be close to nature, this is a great spot for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. We will be back soon!
